Water Pump seals are high quality, bi-directional, seal designs containing several material benefits and features. For example, Type 18 is supplied with a fitting plug, as standard, which provides support to the elastomer bellows prior to fitting these seals. It is a robust compared to some competitors’ equivalents, which are prone to falling apart on assembly.
Seal performance and life cycle are frequently compromised by the fact that water is a poor lubricator of seal faces. Water pump seals are very cost effective and much more reliable than conventional sealing methods.
